It depends on the task, the material and the model class — that is why every commission is quoted individually. The quote is a fixed price in euro, written into the specification before work begins, and the prototype stage is included in it. There are no subscriptions and no per-request fees afterwards.

A compact, clearly defined model usually takes three to four weeks of build time. Broader duties — internal Q&A across many document types, for example — take six to eight. The written specification names the exact timeline for your commission, and the prototype gives you a working preview roughly halfway through.

Yes — a custom model is only custom because it learns from your material. For most tasks, a few hundred real examples are enough; the feasibility review tells you exactly how many your task needs. If your archive is thin, we say so at that stage rather than building on sand.

On our machines in Berlin or on your own hardware — you choose during the briefing. Nothing is sent to third-party services and no external API ever sees your documents. Sample material from the feasibility review is deleted after the decision, with written confirmation.

Yes, and we recommend it. We sign a confidentiality agreement before you hand over any sample material — it is a standard part of step two, not a special favour.

The way we work keeps the usual questions small: processing happens in Germany, on machines you can point at, with no onward transfer. Whether a specific commission touches personal data depends on your material — we raise it during the feasibility review if it does, so your data protection officer can weigh in before the build, not after.

For a compact model, an ordinary office PC or small server is enough. A standard model wants a workstation with a mid-range graphics card; an extended one wants a dedicated server. Your specification names the exact class — and we time the prototype on matching hardware, so the numbers hold after delivery.

Yes. A model running on your own machines needs no connection at all — many clients choose exactly that. Models hosted in our Berlin lab are the only option that requires a connection, and even then it is an encrypted line to one address.

Day to day, nobody — a delivered model runs like any other programme on your machine. Your documentation covers startup, shutdown and the three things that can realistically go wrong. For anything beyond that, we are a phone call away.

Four weeks of adjustments are included in every commission, because a model only proves itself in daily work. Category needs splitting, a threshold sits wrong, a new form layout appears — we tune it. After those four weeks, adjustments are quoted individually, and small ones stay small.

Yes. New form layouts, a renamed category, a seventh team — we retrain the model on the updated material and deliver it as a new version, with the old one kept as a fallback. Updates are quoted as small follow-up commissions.

You do. The delivered model, its documentation and the right to run it wherever and as long as you like belong to you. There is no licence meter and no expiry date.
