The brief is the cheapest place to get a commission right. One page is enough: the task in one sentence, real examples, rough volumes and the system the result should land in. This guide walks through what belongs in it, shows a complete example, and lists what you can safely leave out.

Read the noteLab machines are fast, quiet and nothing like a real office PC. A model that answers in half a second on our bench can take five on the machine it is actually bought for. So every prototype is timed on hardware that matches yours — same class of processor, same memory, same graphics card if there is one. The numbers in your specification are the numbers you will see after delivery. If a model only works on hardware you do not own, we tell you before you buy it, not after.
